Data Protection

General

IS4IT GmbH attaches great importance to protecting your privacy as a user. This applies especially to personal data processing. In order to use our website, it is not necessary for you to disclose personal data. In certain cases, however, we need your name and address as well as other information for processing your order. We will inform you when it is necessary. In addition, we only store and process data you send us voluntarily or automatically.

Collection and processing

All access to and retrieval of files stored on our website are recorded. This includes: retrieved file names, date and time; data quantity transferred; successful retrieval notification; web browser and requesting domain. Storage serves internal statistical purposes. Additionally logged are requesting computers’ IP addresses. Further personal data are only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example as an inquiry, order or registration.

Use and transfer

We will treat personal data you provide confidentially and only pass them on to third parties if necessary for order processing, such as furnishing suppliers with order data. Under no circumstances will we rent or sell your personal data to third parties for their use. Personal data are only used to process your orders, answer your questions and generate anonymous statistics internally. The only exceptions are for services you request containing your consent to use your data as well as for transferring your data to state institutions and authorities according to law. We will pass on data collected and stored with your consent to business partners as part of contractual agreements, insofar as it is necessary in your interest. It goes without saying that our business partners are requested and obliged to comply with statutory data protection regulations.

Insofar as we advertise other companies on our website, we mark this advertising. With its “Liability for Links” (312 O 85/98) judgment of May 12, 1998, the Hamburg Regional Court decided that one is responsible (i.e. can be made liable) for the content of any linked page added; this can only be prevented by expressly dissociating oneself from these contents, which IS4IT does herewith. IS4IT GmbH will not pass on any data to non-EU countries without your consent, unless it is necessary for business transactions and expressly permitted by the BDSG.

Right to information and right of objection

If consent to use your personal data was required, you can revoke it at any time by postal mail to IS4IT GmbH, Management, Grünwalder Weg 28b, 82041 Oberhaching or by e-mail to info@is4it.de. Our data protection officer is
